บทคัดย่อ

การวางยาระงับความรู้สึกโดยใช้ยาดมสลบเป็นหลัก สามารถทำได้ง่าย ปลอดภัย และประหยัด แต่อย่างไรก็ตามความรู้เกี่ยวกับเภสัชวิทยาของยาดมสลบรวมทั้งการเลือกผู้ป่วย การเตรียมอุปกรณ์อย่างเหมาะสมมีส่วนสำคัญต่อความสำเร็จ ซึ่งการนำสลบด้วยยาดมสลบทำได้ 2 วิธีด้วยกันคือ การใช้ยาดมสลบในความเข้มข้นสูง และการใช้ยาดมสลบในความเข้มข้นต่ำ ซึ่งทั้งสองวิธีสามารถทำได้ไม่ยาก และมีภาวะแทรกซ้อนต่ำ   หากมีการดูแลขณะและหลังการให้ยาระงับความรู้สึกอย่างใกล้ชิด
